About Before They Offend
Our Mission
At Before They Offend, we strive to improve the lives of children, teens and adult survivors, of childhood sexual abuse and exploitation. By not only providing them with emergency, or current resources they need for everyday living, but also resources to heal the trauma. This trauma, hinders the entire family unit. Our aim is to focus on intervention tools, in preventing this cycle of abuse, that often leads to potential future offenders. Together, let's give these survivors and or families, a chance at a better future.
Our History
Founded and first broken our silence in 2022. Before They Offend, has been working tirelessly to advocate for everyday families, including our own in some instances, dealing with the trauma of their loved ones. Collectively this has been a 25 year effort in educating, researching, coping, healing and advocating. Together we overstand and will stand beside, in front and behind you, getting you to the other side.
Community Action Team
Our team is made up of dedicated individuals, who are compassionate about making a difference in the world. We must be proactive and assist each other. The BTO team, has real time life and hands on experience in some of the most unfathomable circumstances and situations. From our volunteers to our board members, everyone at Before They Offend are committed to our mission and the lives we serve.
